How do I add my products (or a new product) on my ProductDNA?

Easily add your products to ProductDNA to streamline content creation with Hype AI. Whether you’re uploading a full catalog via CSV/Excel or adding products manually, this guide walks you through the steps to store essential product details like title, description, category, price, and images. Once uploaded, your product information stays saved, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all AI-generated content.

Adding products to Product DNA makes it easier to generate content that aligns with your catalog. With all your product details stored in Hype AI, you won’t need to re-enter key information every time you generate content. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Uploading a Product Catalog in Bulk

If you have multiple products, the fastest way to upload them is through a CSV or Excel file. Before uploading, ensure your sheet includes these required columns:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Category
  • Type
  • Price
  • UPC

Once your file is ready:

  1. Click DNA in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select ProductDNA.
  3. Click Bulk Upload in the top-right corner.
  4. Upload your file, and Hype AI will automatically import your product details.

Note: Images are not uploaded automatically. You will need to manually add them to each product after the upload.

2. Uploading Products Manually

If you prefer to add products one by one:

  1. Click DNA in the left-hand menu and select Product DNA.
  2. Click Add a Product (black button at the top-right of the screen).
  3. Fill in the details manually, including product title, description, category, price, and images.

Once your products are in Product DNA, you won’t need to re-enter this information again. Your AI-generated content will always have the most accurate product details at its disposal.

Now it’s your turn to start adding new products to your Product DNA. Try it out, and if you need any help, your dedicated Customer Success Manager is always available to guide you.
