If you've already experimented with creating a custom Visual Style for your brand, you know how powerful it can be to establish a consistent aesthetic across all AI-generated images. But what if you want to go beyond a general style and train the AI to generate images of a specific product?

With Hype AI’s Visual Styles, you can teach the AI exactly how your product looks—its texture, shape, colors, and unique details—so that every image it generates truthfully represents your product in different settings and compositions.

Follow this guide to learn how to create a product-specific Visual Style in just a few steps.

Step 1: Access Visual Styles in Brand DNA

1. Click on Brand DNA in the left-hand menu.
2. Click Continue to pass the brand setup and tone of voice sections.
3. When you reach the Set Your Visual Style screen, select Your Styles and then click Create a Style.

Now, instead of building a broad brand aesthetic, we’re going to train the AI to generate a specific product as accurately as possible.

Step 2: Define Your Product Example

Let’s walk through an example. Imagine we want to generate images of a chocolate ice cream bar.

If this product existed in real life, we would need to gather reference images that truly capture its texture, color, and shape. Let's pretend this image below is an example image of the product in real life:

Now, this is where the most important part comes in—choosing the right reference images.

Step 3: Gather High-Quality Reference Images

To train the AI effectively, you need 15 to 20 reference images that:

• Show the product from different angles
• Highlight the texture
• Accurately capture the colors and materials
• Maintain a consistent photography style

Here are a few examples of ideal reference images for a chocolate ice cream bar:

By carefully selecting images that emphasize the details that matter most, you ensure that the AI understands exactly how to replicate your product.

Step 4: Create and Process Your Product Style

1. Once you have uploaded all your reference images, click Create Style at the bottom right.
2. The AI will begin processing your style, which typically takes 15 to 25 minutes.
3. Once the style is ready, it will appear as Succeeded in your Visual Styles list.

You are now ready to use your product-specific Visual Style inside the Text-to-Image feature in Studio.

Step 5: Apply Your Product-Specific Visual Style in Text-to-Image

Once your Visual Style is created and marked as Succeeded, it’s ready to use inside Text-to-Image in Studio.

1. Go to Studio and select Text-to-Image.
2. Click on the filter icon at the top right of the briefing console.
3. From the dropdown menu, select the Visual Style you just created.
4. Write a brief describing what you want to generate.
5. Click Generate, and the AI will now use your trained Visual Style to produce images that match your product’s look.

Pro Tips for Multiple Product Styles

• If your product is photographed in different lighting conditions or packaging variations, create separate Visual Styles for each version.
• Ensure all reference images for a single style share a consistent look so the AI doesn’t mix different aesthetics.
• Test your style by generating images with Text-to-Image and adjust your references if needed for better accuracy.
